Sr Analyst Interview Questions

31,602 sr analyst interview questions shared by candidates

The first two interviews were very standard reviews of my previous experience and technical ability, to make sure my experience was somewhat relevant to the functions performed by this role and to establish that my credentials seemed authentic. The third interviewer made sure that my technical skills were relevant to the functions he performed in that same role, and took me through some of the recurring or routine projects he worked on to ensure I had experience that would prove relevant and that i was able understood the tasks thoroughly and develop a solid approach and strategy for completing them effectively. The final meeting with my eventual superior at Disney seemed a bit rough - he dug quite a bit into my prior work history, asked a lot of questions about whether I had experience with particular systems or applications that were primarily used for this position (which I did not), and seemed to dig more into the ways that my previous experience was not relevant to the expected duties of the position, than to he was interested in exploring the ways that my experience would serve to benefit the role. He really dug into some of the specifics of the open role for which my previous experience was not particularly relevant, and focused on highlighting differences between my past experience and the expectations of the position. I remember walking out and feeling fairly certain I would not be offered the role.
