In doing so, you will regularly cooperate with leading international institutions such as the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Your future tasks:
You will support the scientists of the aerosol group with technical solutions, and maintenance and troubleshooting of measurement instruments.
You will help set up and operate measurement systems, develop instrument controls and real-time visualizations.
You will contribute to the operation and further development of IT infrastructure and measurement infrastructure.
You will automate the operation and calibration of aerosol instruments, professionalize data collection and establish robust work-flows for data management and processing.
You will support scientists in data analysis and carry out quality controls.
You will support the monitoring of the measurement instruments and data collection during multiweek measurement campaigns with research aircraft abroad, in cooperation with international partner institutions.
You will support the ongoing operation of the laboratories (calibration, maintenance and spare parts management/orders).
You will create and maintain technical documentation.
This is part of your personality:
