The Research Group Theory and Applications of Algorithms Research Group is seeking a dedicated and motivated technical assistant. Our Research Group addresses challenges in the fields of combinatorial and numerical algorithms as well as cryptography from both theoretical and applied perspectives.
Your responsibilities will include, in particular, the purchase and management of hardware and software (including web server management, technical support, and network and documentation maintenance), as well as the further development and maintenance of the group’s internal IT infrastructure. In addition, you will work with other faculty technicians to maintain the faculty’s central IT infrastructure.

About 20 colleagues from a wide variety of countries appreciate an atmosphere characterized by open collaboration, a highly international enviroment, excellent research, and a commitment to diversity. The position is initially a one-year fixed-term contract and can also be offered as a part-time position. A transition to a permanent position is possible thereafter.
