Your responsibilities

• Ensuring reliable day-to-day operations of datacenter and cloud infrastructure environments
• Operating, monitoring, and maintaining hybrid infrastructure, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, and cloud services
• Managing and optimizing system performance, availability, and capacity
• Executing incident, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL practices
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level support, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex incidents
• Maintaining and operating Active Directory and Entra services (identity, authentication, policies)
• Implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam) and ensuring disaster recovery readiness
• Collaborating closely with Architecture teams to implement new solutions and ensure smooth transitions into operations
• Ensuring compliance with IT security policies in coordination with the CISO
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation and operational procedures
• Monitoring infrastructure health and proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
• Coordinating with external providers and vendors for support and service delivery
• Supporting automation and continuous improvement of operational processes

Your profile

• Good command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong operational mindset with focus on stability, reliability, and service quality
• Hands-on experience in operating complex IT environments (virtualization, high availability, global setups)
• Solid experiens with Window and Linux Server, VMware vSphere or comparable virtualization platforms, Backup solutions, Cloud platforms, Active Directory
• Certifications fitting to the job are welcome
• Basic-to-intermediate knowledge in networking technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong service and customer orientation when working with internal users and external partners
• Team player with good self-organization and ability to work under pressure
• High degree of reliability, responsibility, and ownership
• Willingness to travel

Last but not least, under Austrian law, we are required to state the minimum salary for this position.
This amounts to EUR 47.546,94 gross per year for a full-time role (according to the Metal Industry collective agreement).
