We are looking for a hands-on Junior Marketing Manager with a strong biotech or life sciences background, good visual and graphical understanding, and the ability to use AI tools to create impressive, high-quality marketing content.

Your profile should stand out in this order: first, biotech background knowledge and understanding; second, graphical and visual communication skills; third, AI skills to create visually impressive content.

You should be able to understand our product context, ask the right scientific and technical questions, and translate complex bioprocessing, SaaS, and machine learning concepts into clear messages for biotech, pharma, CDMO, and R&D audiences.

You do not need to be a senior designer, but you should understand layout, hierarchy, graphics, diagrams, and how to make technical content look professional and easy to understand.

You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership. You will receive guidance on priorities and positioning but should be able to take defined tasks from brief to final asset with ownership and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who combines biotech understanding with creative execution and wants to grow into B2B SaaS marketing in a highly technical industry.

• Understand and translate biotech and bioprocessing topics into clear, credible marketing communication for biotech, pharma, CDMO, CRO, and R&D audiences.
• Create and improve visual marketing assets such as pitch-deck slides, one-pagers, infographics, diagrams, website visuals, social media graphics, and event material.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to support content ideation, copy drafts, visual concepts, layout variations, and efficient production of high-quality marketing materials.
• Support product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for Novasign Studio, especially around bioprocessing, SaaS, machine learning, hybrid modeling, and process optimization.
• Turn technical input from Product, Sales, and Leadership into polished content for website pages, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, presentations, whitepapers, and customer-facing collateral.
• Maintain scientific accuracy and consistency in marketing content by validating technical details with internal experts.
• Support lead-generation activities through content marketing, LinkedIn, SEO-oriented content, email campaigns, event follow-up, and targeted outbound materials.
• Prepare and update materials for conferences, webinars, partner showcases, customer demos, and sales conversations.
• Help monitor basic marketing performance metrics such as website activity, campaign engagement, LinkedIn performance, and content conversion.
• Contribute ideas to improve Novasign's visual market presence, brand consistency, and clarity of communication across channels.

• Educational or work-related background in biotech, bioprocessing, bioengineering, life sciences, pharmaceutical development, or a closely related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, content creation, scientific communication, visual content, or a related field; alternatively, a biotech/life sciences profile with a strong portfolio of visual or content work.
• Strong ability to understand scientific and technical topics and turn them into clear, structured communication.
• Good graphical understanding, including layout, composition, hierarchy, typography, diagrams, and data or technical visualization.
• Hands-on experience creating presentations, graphics, one-pagers, social media assets, or campaign material.
• Experience with tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design and presentation tools.
• Practical experience or strong interest in AI tools for marketing and content creation, such as text generation, image generation, presentation design, video support, or layout ideation.
• Good writing and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Proactive, structured working style with the ability to take ownership of clearly defined tasks.
• Strong interest in B2B marketing, SaaS, machine learning, and scientific audiences.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Experience in SaaS, biotech, life sciences, deep tech, or another technical B2B environment.
• Basic understanding of bioprocessing, process modeling, hybrid models, digital twins, PAT, or machine learning in life sciences.
• Portfolio examples showing visual marketing content, presentations, infographics, diagrams, social posts, or AI-assisted content.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Webflow, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or similar platforms.
• Experience with lead generation, inbound marketing, outbound campaign support, SEO content, or account-based marketing.
• Understanding of customer journeys in technical markets, especially CDMOs, CROs, biotechs, and pharma R&D.
• Understanding of BDMs (Business Decision Makers) and TDMs (Technical Decision Makers).
• Basic video editing or motion content skills.
• Startup or scale-up experience, especially in a setting where marketing structures are still being built.
• German is a plus.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, hands-on, and eager to grow, but whose strongest starting point is biotech and life sciences understanding.

You do not need to have led marketing before. You should be able to understand technical input, make it visually clear, and create content that helps Novasign explain its value to biotech and pharma audiences.

You should enjoy hands-on creation: building slides, improving diagrams, turning product explanations into campaigns, testing AI tools, and making complex technical topics easier to understand.
