Pros

Good benefits and Competitive pay.

Cons

Management is the worse. I have never been so disrespected at a job before. They walk around with blinders on and when issues are brought up they abruptly answer with no actual knowledge or just ignore you and act annoyed. They really managed to change something with a good culture and people with good work ethic into a total nightmare. You will hate going to work everyday. there is also no work life balance they change your schedule whenever and however they want with short or no notice. Managers scream at you when you ask a questions and everyone has an attitude they should be happy there was no HR in the building oh but there is one lady to handle all complaints of all of their projects. This place is a joke.

Pros

My team is lovely - but that was sheer luck. You can't know who you'll be working with from the outset.

Cons

- Who will you be working for? You will be interviewed by an Accenture staff member but they will not tell you that you will be working for them through Hays. You will find out once you're given your contract. - You're going to be regarded and treated as a 'resource', rather than an actual human being. While this might be common HR speak, it is dehumanizing. As your humanity is stripped away, you will feel more and more like an office drone - management is solely concerned with billable hours and 'metrics', rather than with the quality of the work you do. It's bums on seat, regardless of whether you have work to do or not. You're going to be sitting in your seat for 8 hours a day, toilet breaks are counted towards your 60 minute break a day. The work is mind-numbingly boring. You will be told that you have to reach an arbitrary target and work faster and faster for no other reason than to make management look good. Staff morale is low - no sick leave, healthcare or pension plan. If you're sick, you will not get paid, so people come to work sick (to an open plan office) and likely pass their illness on to other members of staff. - Salary: depending on what language you speak, you may not make as much as your co-workers even though you do the same work. A Sunday Times article from this year (2018) suggests that some employees make less than the living wage (approx. E11 per hour or E23,000 per year, before tax). You're told not to discuss your salary with your co-workers so that they won't find out if you're being paid more than them. - It is unlikely that you will use any of your previous experience, skills and knowledge. You're not paid to think (much) but to do as you're told. It's like a kindergarten for adults rather than a professional environment. You might not notice any of the points above straight away and you may well disagree with me but so far, this has been one of my worst job experiences ever.
