Pros

The employees really seem to "walk the talk." Almost everybody I've interacted with has strived to work by Amazon's leadership principles.

Cons

I've seen this in lots of jobs, but there's so much miscommunication and instances of having "too many cooks in the kitchen."

Pros

Amazon is a great place to work for a self starter. There is a lot of opportunities to work on many different technologies. It is day 1 everyday. Employees are encouraged to innovate and use the opportunities/challenges in different light in order to come up with a better solution.

Cons

Must be self starter, must have can do attitude, and quick learner.

Pros

I have been working with AWS for two and half months and it has been a very healthy environment. My team have been very helpful with learning and settling in. I hope it stays that way.

Cons

A lot of training which is common in any working environment.
