Pros

Been with Appirio for three years, and this is the most professionally engaged I've ever been at a job or with a company. The fact that it's a virtual office makes it all the more satisfying! Culture is key and building relationships with each other and our customers is what makes it work. Appirio is the first and only place I've worked where you are truly in charge of your career. If there's a need you can meet, go do it. If there's an opportunity to get involved, raise your hand. Opportunity comes when you step outside your professional comfort zone and take part in owning the company. No inner circles or old boys club. Appirio is completely transparent from company financials, sales pipeline, ongoing initiatives, etc. There's no excuse for not knowing the goings-on of Appirio!

Cons

Sometimes things get crazy just like with any fast-growing company. Continue to stay focused on the long-term. No 401(K) match, yet. Focus on culture sometimes trump compensation, especially compared to more aggressively-paying competitors.

Pros

Very open and collaborative culture. I have the opportunity to work from home, but still have lots of colleagues online who I can refer questions to (that had been one of my concerns). Everyone is very helpful, down-to-earth, and open to being contacted - from the executives on down. Very good systems for managing projects internally, and a very good on-boarding process. They also hook you up with a mentor in a similar job position.

Cons

I haven't experienced any problems yet. Be prepared to move and learn quickly; learning their internal project management tools requires that you stay sharp and keep your projects' statuses updated.

Pros

High growth, great culture, tons of opportunity, and projects that make you go, "Wow!" I am constantly amazed by the innovation we deliver to customers and I've never worked anywhere that has so many big name, repeat customers, who just plain love the work we do. If you want to explore what the cloud can do, come hang out with us. Appirio cares about customers, teams and having a blast while we deliver cool solutions that keep customers coming back for more projects.

Cons

Appirio is not easy to get into, but face it, do you want to work anywhere where they'll hire anyone who just says they know cloud? We work hard, but we play hard too. Travel can sometimes be an issue for some people, but the expectations set during the interview are almost always on the high end. Managers also understand when burnout might happen and address it.
