Pros

Decent employee benefits, decent location near public transport. When I first joined it was actually a very good company with a good culture. The CEO I feel is doing a decent job despite the negativity and other problems.

Cons

The main issue is not the CEO himself. It is the senior management one and two levels below the CEO. They intimidate and bully hard-working employees and treat them like criminals whilst trying to mask their own incompetence. There is too much politics and bureaucracy with constant blaming and pointless processes that achieve very little, if anything at all. When something does goes wrong, middle and senior management try to shift the blame to other parties; either their staff or other teams. Management also bully and intimidate their staff into doing meaningless work that doesn't fulfill business requirements. It's just work for their own self-promotion. If this meaningless work goes wrong, they will again blame their staff. When something goes wrong, minor or major, management immediately treat their direct reports or other teams as criminals and do not take responsibility for their own mismanagement. This is especially so in the Sydney and Noida offices. They over complicate what should be relatively simple tasks by introducing processes that just add more meaningless work. There are plenty of pointless meetings that achieve nothing and just stop staff from actually doing work. It is extremely difficult to suggest new ideas and get them approved due to the sheer amount of red tape these ideas have to go through. They like talk about the quality of the product being the highest priority but this is a load of rubbish. It is really all about cutting time to market. This leads to staff being overworked and rushed, poor quality products that will eventually be found out in the field. They cut staff so they can maintain their bonuses and profits.

Pros

No pros. except subsidised food and team outing that's it. nothing else.

Cons

1) No job security. 2) If you don't lick boot of your manager then you will never get promotion. 3) Poor quality of work. They will say you will work in software but all mere hardware will be handed over to you and you will become a hardware engineer here. 4) It's not HR driven company its a pure manager driven company which is really bad. That's why good people ends up licking boot of their managers for their job survival or leave the organization. 5) HR people are not supportive. They never look to the problems you are facing within company. Zero power in HR Hand. 6) I Ruined my Career by joining this company. 7) People are fired from here without prior notice. 8) all good reviews on glass door was given by HR of aristocrat to show that company is very nice and good for one's career. But trust me It's a worst product company I have ever joined and want to leave it as soon as possible. 9) Managers here don't have any knowledge about the domain and just sticked to their chair. Sometimes they discuss among themselves "How is everything going on. work should go on etc rubbish things“ managers are also not sure when they have their last day here. So think about employees who are working under kind of poor leadership this company have. Rest I want to say if you think I am lying then join it and feel it and do give your reviews. This is a review given by honest and hardworking employee who don't have boot licking attitude who deliver work on time and want to leave office on time. I will never ever join aristocrat if Aristocrat asks to join at any cost in near future.
