      Pros

      Open culture. Good job security as lots of tolerance for mistakes and tendency to shy away from taking hard decisions. High levels of staffing leading to almost no work in some areas.

      Cons

      Tobacco industry, very difficult to switch jobs. Downsizing activities started since last 3 years. Very little opportunities to grow in the new scenario unless you are someones "favorite". Loads of incompetent people in senior management.

      Pros

      I've considered BAT to be one of the best places I've worked in for a very long time. Generally it is very respect driven atmosphere, pay and bonus is very competitive. Overall good perks and decent work-life balance.

      Cons

      A company is only as good as the people working there. Do not join the Data & Analytics department. It was a really good place between 2019 and 2022, but has deteriorated drastically since it's changed its leadership. Currently people are getting fired bit by bit, there is a lot of lying, and chaotic team changes that are not rooted in any analysis, just to be changed again after a few months. Uncertainty is through the roof and one is always at the risk of being fired. Leadership overpromises, overworks its employees and treats them with outmost lack of respect if things fail. Do not join this toxic team.
