Pros

There are quite a few managers that are excellent and respectful and see their staff as people and not just dollar signs.

Cons

Many projects are too large to be managed properly. A company with such a state of financial uncertainty can be a challege to work for.

Pros

There is a lot of flexibility. If you find a good manager or mentor to work with, they will help you to move from project to project. I had a manager that allowed me to travel internationally. That was great.

Cons

If you do not have a good network within the firm, you are out on your own luck. Mentor or performance managers DO NOT CARE for you. They will put you on projects so that you can be chargeable. They do not care for your future or career growth, especially in Financial Services!
