Pros

The employee discount is generous, work-life balance is good, and some people were good to work with.

Cons

I worked in HR and witnessed discrimination and unethical business practice. HR strategies and technology were years behind with no interest in innovating practices. HR leaders didn't value the expertise on their teams or respect their employees.

Pros

Guaranteed hours as VPL, good pay and if your store does well for the month then great pay with the bonuses, from the stores I've worked at management has always been extremely helpful

Cons

The shifts can be long, but if you can keep busy it's not too bad, usually just long mids. Otherwise, the way the bonus structure works is great if your store does consistently well, if not then you may never see a good bonus.

Pros

Subsidized cafeteria. Good people to work with in some business areas (outside of IT).

Cons

Too many to write - there are majorly incompetent employees in IT who are just there to collect a paycheck. A key sign of incompetent staff is incompetent leadership and that includes the managers and directors. Lots of backstabbing, gossiping and floundering amongst IT - especially in the application maintenance area.
