      Pros

      Excellent place to learn about business frameworks and gain exposure to diverse industries. Quality of peers especially at the associate level is unmatched. Chance to hone your communication and analytical skills as well.

      Cons

      Client always come first. There will be numerous times when you have to give up your evenings and weekends to meet urgent client deadlines. This depends to some extent on the partner or project leader on your particular case.

      The company hasn't kept up with changing times in the industry. Consultants need to be very politically astute to succeed. Senior leadership looks at employees as "factors of production".
