Pros

If you have luck you can find interesting projects with ambitious people You have access to a lot of learning platforms

Cons

You have no control in which project you will land Most of the projects are really old and outdated - there is a high chance you won't be doing any coding - only responding to Jira tickets It is really hard to change projects - sometimes when you end up in one you are stuck Also being recruited doesn't mean being in project - some people land on bench and stay there really long If you were recruited as some role eg. Java Dev it does not mean you will get projects as one - you can end up in projects where you will work with some no/low code apps or as a tester
