Pros

The team which I was working with was very supportive, my manager and team lead made sure I learned the technology well by providing me support whenever necessary and they are very easy to talk to. My understanding is that it all depends on the project team, if they are good you will have a good time.

Cons

The management in Capgemini is very bad. Surprising to see there are a few employees in this organisation who do not have basic manners and they yell at other employees for no reason. They are not ready to listen to our part of the story and only constantly harass us. Already a part of a project and they want to pull me for some program and when I clarified the same they didn't care about it. Even if I provide proof to them they do not care. They constantly call and mail us and harass us to attend programs, and the most rude behaviour I have ever experienced in my life. This is not a single incident, and it is not only with me alone, around 20 people are facing the exact same issues as me. And previously, they sent me warnings saying that I haven't responded to their multiple mails and calls and that they're taking action against me. But I had not recieved any information about any program. I tried clarifying with them and they didn't even consider my messages. They ignore our justifications and do not listen to us whatsoever. Freshers are excited to be a part of an organisation, to work and contribute, and companies are expected to nurture such people so that they can be confident and capable employees. But such rude and inconsiderate treatment really brings down the morale.

Pros

The culture can be fun, and there will be periods of time where you are getting paid to do absolutely nothing but check your emails.

Cons

If you are looking to grow your career as an engineer, please run far away from this company. Especially if you are new to engineering, this company can’t do anything for you. You’ll be thrown onto teams where you’re being asked to do senior-level stuff with associate-level knowledge. Or worse, you won’t be put on a project at all, and you’ll be laid off after a year with nothing on your resume. Be warned.

Pros

- Time off from shift work can be nice - Pay is on time - Free coffee and milk?

Cons

- Management seem to have a power trip when met with any resistance or counter arguments to so called "requests" which are really demands made by them. -Company does not offer any training for entry level roles and such has a high turn over rate. - Below standard industry rate for all entry level roles while dangling a carrot of upskilling/promotion. (I know of people waiting 2 years for a desktop role!) - The sales team takes on contracts from companies that level 1 support can't handle and actively hides that from clients (imagine 1200 INC/RITM) Tickets between 8 people. (These 8 people also work on other clients despite telling the original client that those 8 people are dedicated to them and them only)
