Pros

It is all about work, work, pressure but at the end of the year a sad face that company did not do well and we cannot give you a hike or bonus.! Not worth sacrificing your work-life balance!!

Cons

1. Poor compensation in Belfast 2. Only about Work and work 3. Very poor work-life balance

Pros

Voluntary time off and generous pto. It was nice not having to ask to use it. (You will need it. See below)

Cons

It’s glorified customer service, a little bit of a misleading job description. They try to fluff it up and make it sound like it’s more than it is. You’ll be taking back to back calls and have to deal with disrespectful customers and managers. Toxic isn’t even the word. This place runs on fear and control. Management micromanages you like it’s their full-time hobby. Want to use the bathroom? You’re expected to IM them every single time—and they’ll still message you if you're not back in five minutes like you’re taking a vacation in there. No room for growth unless you’re there for 50 years, they say after a year you can get promoted but they have unrealistic and harsh metrics. If you’re missing one you’re not going anywhere, lateral moves are possible but competitive. Don’t waste your time unless you’re starting out in a better role perhaps.

Pros

You don't need previous experience to be hired for an entry position. Pay is not bad - £27k (per year) at the start for new hires. However, no money is worth this amount of stress. Great benefits (plenty of different insurance options such as life, critical illness, dental, travel insurance etc.)

Cons

Toxic work environment (FX Operations department) Work-life balance is non existent. No recognition for extra work/hours. Everything is your fault. Management doesn't take any responsibility for mistakes they made. High staff turnover - people leave because it's too much pressure and it's not worth the money. Sooner or later, this work will take a toll on your mental and physical well-being.
