Pros

If you love making cold-calls all day then this is the job for you!

Cons

Upon hire they tell you are working in logistics but you end up cold-calling carriers to take vehicles. They took away paid holidays of Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July etc. You now have to submit PTO to take these days off. And this means they could reject it. Employees were supposed to be give the Mondays after Christmas and New Years off but the client dictated that DHL could not give them day off. No business reason for this. Most carriers had taken the week off. Other employees could work from home due to Covid but Cox team could not based on non-health reasons. I was at home recovering from Covid and they required me to call in EVERY day to let them know if I was going to work from home.

Pros

DHL and EasyJet makes lots of money off your back.

Cons

1. Working hours and shifts 2. No overtime available to help your colleagues and earn some extra money(and when there is any, you get abused) 3. No holiday slots what so ever 4. You need to get your tongue brown otherwise they put you to work for those that already have it 5. No active Health&Safety officers 6. They are more concerned about the customer not about employees 7. 1-2-1's that nobody cares about 8. "Discretionary" sick pay which translates into "we pay sick to those who clean our ears" 9. You are on your own and have to cover yourself for anything because everyone is looking to blame someone else to cover themselves. 10. No digitalisation 11. Briefings done differently within departments and not on time 12. They don't care if you report any H&S violations or risks until actually something bad happens. 13. Favoritism and discrimination at its finest. And I can go all day long.

Parts of DHL I’m told are very good. Ryton on Dunsmore CS isn’t one of them

Cons

No leadership No communication Poor structure and general service by this part of DHL
