Pros

In the right team and setting, DB is likely a good part to work...still to be proven for me though

Cons

Too political, back-stabbing and anti-meritocratic environment for anyone in their right mind to like and thrive in. Promotion and compensation seems to be more linked to how close you are to top management than any real ability to provide value to the business. Without there are some good and talented people in there, but in my experience their positive contribution was outweighed by the incompetence and ill will too many other. As you can hear I am less than impressed by DB compared to other Int'l banks I have been with.

Pros

Excellent maternity and vacation leave. Good support for women and minorities. Great support of community, art and other philanthropic initiatives.

Cons

Restructuring during the recent economic crisis has been difficult for everyone involved. Communication regarding the future paths for different business lines could be clearer.
