Pros

- 5 paid-time-off weeks per year - Some managers are results oriented, so you can leave some days early when needed (e.g., doctor appointments) - Acceptable level of visibility to Sr leadership

Cons

- Promotion opportunities are not great - Compensation package is just ok - Strong resistance to change

Pros

It was great compensation and benefits. Its a good place to work at if going to school or need a flexible schedule

Cons

They are very goals oriented, and they are very demanding of your results. They constantly change policy and treat their employees as if they are robots.

Pros

You get great experience as an intern here - you really do real work on real projects. You get immersed in the culture, and walk away knowing a lot more about real life marketing than you did in school.

Cons

Riverwoods is kind of a crappy location. The economy has hit Discover (as it has all credit companies) pretty hard...makes you wonder whether you'll still have a job.
