Poor management and leadership team. Indecisive, lack of communication and direction down the chain. Very much a blame culture where you fear for your job. Colleagues appear friendly but atmosphere is awful, poor engagement and lack of motivation. Heard bad things before I started but put it down to them maybe not being the "right fit". Eaton is hands down the worst company I have ever worked for.

Some managers will danglea promotion to make you do work beyond your scope work and above your pay rate. For almost a year, took on responsibilities for a role above my position. Then come yearly reviews and he don't keep his promise of a promotion. He claimed they dont have the budget right now then said I'm not ready yet. Even though all goals and metrics were above expectations. He did not remove the extra responsibilities and told me to keep up the good work while getting "the industry standard raise" of 3%, while reminding me that i should be thankful for getting paid above the minimum for my current role. Coworkers who did the bare minimum that also got to work late often and left early got the same raise. Some managers, even in different departments will sabotage or set you up for failure if they feel their job is threatened by your accomplishments. After job hunting I realized they paid below industry rate for an engineer, all new offers were 20٪ - 30% more.
