Regarding the hierarchy we have a flat structure what means everything is a bit more chaotic than in traditional hierarchic systems. But this allows us to be flexible and change quickly. That's actually how we managed to operate successfully in the last 20 years, flexibility is the key. What we can suggest is to talk to local HR Manager about the situation so that she can help with the advice what to do.
Yes, bench could be long sometimes. But salary is paid all this period and all the educational courses and internal projects are at your service.
