There are many great managers at Dell. Then there are a handful that are not. I am not going to say anything negative towards the company as I loved working there. As a matter of fact, I would still be there if it were not for my former manager. I would like to encourage any employee there to not only interview for promotions and new roles, but interview and research the manager you could be working for. Sometimes things are not as they seem. Your individuality or what makes you successful is taken as a threat and could ultimately cause you to lose your way, get you black balled or even fired. This happened to me. Stay with Dell as long as you can. It is the best company I have ever worked for.
