Unrealistic Standards & Expectations - Financial Customer Associate Fidelity Investments Employee Review

Pros

None, unless your upper management.

Cons

Remote was a lie, that's how they reel you in. The expectations are double standard. I have only been with the company 11 mo and I'm extremely disappointed, to say the least! Many tenured employees are even fed up with all the changes. With the in office mandate makes for a non-existent work life balance . There is no opportunity for development, unless you maintain a certain metric criteria, calls have to be under a 5 min which is absolutely ridiculous, when you have several types of 401K/Defined Contributions issues that require research from different resources. We are treated like robots, and our calls are evaluated on a percentage scale, and the quality team always finds something wrong with your calls, therefore extending your role on the phones, and preventing you from having other opportunities to move up in the company.

Pros

Benefits including profit sharing and bonuses are great. The breadth of this company provides a great opportunity to try out different career paths or boost your current one.

Cons

In my current role, I am working overtime more often than I'd like with recognition that seems to only go so far until it sizzles out. That may be tied to the size of the company itself, where promotions work in a "trickle down" manner.
