Pros

You'll learn firsthand that "hindsight is 20/20." Because you should have believed the bad reviews before you took the job. If you had, you would not have been subjected to the most psychologically unsafe work experience you've ever had. You wouldn't have been gaslit and manipulated by malignant narcissists disguised as experienced leaders. You wouldn't have worked super hard only to have your contributions constantly devalued or ignored by nearly everyone above you (none of whom have any experience with the work you're doing). You wouldn't have watched the ignorant and phony and mean ones thrive, while the rest bear the thankless burden of taking up their slack. You wouldn't have wasted your tears or time.

Cons

You'll be constantly exhausted by the labor of maintaining your sanity and self esteem in an environment that seems intentionally designed to erode your humanity. You'll be undermined at every turn, since it's the only way anyone can survive and succeed. You'll feel empty, alone, and worthless, and nobody will be able to care, much less even notice. You'll forget what being respected and valued feels like.

Pros

The product is cool and if properly onboarded customers will get value from it. Coworkers are fairly social If you are new to sales would be a good place to learn the basics

Cons

Probably the cheapest company I have ever worked for. Benefits are below standard, they changed the commission plan every year I was there so that you would make less money, and you are expected to share hotel rooms when you travel. Look up Meltwater on Reddit or LinkedIn. They are known for very aggressive sales tactics which you will be forced to implement on your customers. A culture of micromanagement that comes from the top down. Virtually no avenue for promotion unless you are willing to move or get lucky and someone leaves.
