Pros
PTC is always chasing the next wave of innovation. There are great resources for employees to learn new skills, both soft and technical.
Cons
PTC is where innovative companies go to die. Most of the innovation comes through acquisition. Eventually, the new cow becomes the old cow and key people leave or are asked to leave. The technology becomes un-maintainable. Internal projects get canceled after many months of investment (not the fail fast mentality practiced by Agile). Layoffs are frequent and morale is often low despite the efforts of HR.
