Pros

Very pros vanished after 2023

Cons

Recent removal of capped PF (₹15,000 wage ceiling) and shift to mandatory PF on full basic has significantly reduced take-home salary for many employees This option was previously available and widely used for years, so the sudden change has disrupted financial planning and monthly cash flow Limited flexibility in compensation structure, especially for employees who prefer more in-hand salary over locked-in savings Salary structure does not appear aligned with labour law expectations (e.g., Basic being around 50% of gross), raising concerns about transparency and compliance Lack of a safe and truly anonymous channel to raise concerns or question such policy changes, making employees hesitant to speak up
