Pros

The buildings were cool, food was good, great health insurance

Cons

They talk up the work conditions and the “culture” but it’s all talk. They don’t trust employees to be adults. Everything is micromanaged and the lingo used throughout is so disingenuous.

Pros

TLDR: Tough sell, but some people thrive in indentured servitude. Full honest experience: -One real plus is that eventually your effort helps improve healthcare institutions productivity #wholesome - Super independent/autonomous work, little micromanaging -the campus is cool to look at, there's a slide and the golf cart taxis are great in the summer. To be fair the novelty of it fades after your first month -Many say the food, for its price and quality (supposed to be affordable but its a kids meal size), solid quality though for sure -You can bond with colleagues by venting on the way home, who are usually smart and capable people

Cons

- It's a mouse trap - little incentives here and there are what keep the weak from leaving. It is evident that every effort is made to bring in young, impressionable talent, make it hard to leave, and squeeze you dry - Salary is solid relative to the area until you cost average how many hours you put in. Serve as a waiter/waitress at a nice place and easily get the same hourly pay - Work life balance is not a balance, the expectation is no life, though you can go under the radar if you set the right boundaries and not simp - For a tech company, pretty mid for anything associated to tech, no WFH, broken links to training materials, mediocre user interfaces - Joke of a training program, its like finals week in college except it lasts 6+ months. Be prepared for unprepared trainers and a mess of a class schedule while you teach yourself material that has no relevance in any other job - Overall pretend culture, fake "feedback", no concern of employees - While most employees are commendable, epic most definitely has a practice squad/Junior varsity feeling. This wasn't anyone's first choice, else they would be at google or what have you - Glassdoor will probably have waves of negative reviews after staff meetings, followed by synthetic positive reviews, skip the short ones & best of luck
