Good pay, nice work environment

Cons

They have to stop your contract every 6 months. In Belgium you need to have worked 212 days in the last 21 months to qualify for unemployment so you have to save.

Pros

Around 51000eur/year for FGIV researcher (salary tables are public). There are lot of different units and teams. Some of them not doing really any research but stablished services for the EC or DGs instead. Health insurance, good family benefits and decent work/life balance.

Cons

Slow high level decicions, no professional scope, not really transparent, incoherent mid term decision and policies.
