Pros

There are many opportunities to make a positive impact on the business and upper management is moer than willing to allow you those opportunities.

Cons

Internal IT is more interested in their next promotion than in project success. Short of naming names, this company has lost a number of key players due to poor promotions and unecessary political exercises.

Pros

I like the culture, very Microsoftish and Googleish. Laid back allows free thinking.

Cons

Salary is not comparable to other companies

Pros

The people hear are hands down the best to work with. Motivated, smart, and still have well rounded lives outside Expedia. There are plenty of opportunities within Expedia, folks are encouraged to not just promote to management but also change job functions routinely.

Cons

Inability in our senior management to guide path that stays the same from month to month. Our industry is very instable which can lead to speculation of company problems when there are none.
