Pros

The company is going through a rapid growth phase at the moment which provides amazing opportunities to build products from the ground up and see them scale. The culture is very product focused. The caliber of engineers is inspiring. You can wear multiple hats and develop horizontally, as well as dive deep and specialize. Overall the company has done very well over the last year and is ripe for becoming a leader in travel industry.

Cons

With the hyper growth come it’s challenges. People who are more autonomous will thrive. You need to know what you want and go get it. The culture is still in flux and there has been some turnover in the upper management lately, but I’m hopeful about the future.

Pros

*Company is growing despite a global pandemic, thanks to the effort and minds of some brilliant people working here. *Certain positions have very competitive salary and great benefits, but it is not equal among all departments, of course some positions are not as valuable as others (as some leaders might tell you). *There are some great teams, but it is like rolling the dice to see if you're lucky enough to join one of these gems. *Flexible remote work policy is truly a great perk of working here. *Great stepping stone in you're looking to get some experience that will look good on your resume.

Cons

* Leadership is some of the worse I have encountered anywhere I have worked, very self-motivated, and treats others with a total disregard for human decency. Favoritism runs rampant. *CEO is so consumed with making a name for himself that he does not care how he makes it to the top. * Condescending white male-centric tech culture. *Beware of 5-star reviews mentioning "this is not a 9-5 job" and that this job is not for everyone as it is not your typical work environment, this is code for no work-life balance. *Any workplace that puts in question the competency of people that were let go during a global crisis to discredit negative reviews, is not one where someone should aim to be employed at. *Lack of diversity where it truly makes a difference and no efforts in changing that

Pros

Pre Covid -Remote work was a huge perk -Benefits were good. Comparable to most trendy startups (coffee, snacks, good health plan) -Like many startups career growth was booming. Quite a few folks got a career bump despite the lack of formal training/education - Colleagues that really work hard for customers, partners, and the projects they have been assigned

Cons

- Execs and upper management lack experience and hide it under needless mind games, divisive tactics, and favoritism - Common practice is to claim credit for ideas offered up by employees so as to add to one's own reputation. - Managers that do care have either been let go or have been so severely dissilusioned as to comply with the negative satus quo - Careers are made or broken on the grounds of who you know and who you're nice to - Once Covid hit, the first to be let go were people of color, mat/pat leaves, employees with visas. Unsurprisingly, even at the highest levels white males were kept over experienced women that helped build the company during it's early stages. - The CEO refused to underline BLM despite multiple POC expressing its importance to them and to their peers. - General toxic environment.
