Pros

No reason to work at a company that continually violates Federal Discrimination laws (search “Ibm discrimination”)

Cons

Something is terribly wrong when a company has at least annual layoffs (often 2 or more in a year) going back 10+ years. No genuine regard for their employees. No accountability in senior or middle management. If you are a part of an acquisition, you need to understand the clock is ticking until they start to include you in their “resource actions” (wake up Red Hat) especially if US based. Truly a shame that a once great company has devolved into shell of its former self.

Global company that may not be for individuals who prefer smaller environments.
