Pros

The campus with all the facilities provided to the employees is the best reason for one to work for Infosys. Also the values thats are imbibed in the Infy culture is something that is rare to find now adays. Even after leaving the company i think of going back to the firm which is a great achievement on the part of Infosys as a company. You have lot of opportunities to prove yourself. So if you have the zing to work in the IT sector and be amongst the best brains then Infosys is the place to be in. The sport facilities are also an attraction with each campus equally beautiful.

Cons

Downsides are very few. Foremost would be that Infosys pays less compared to the less known firms. This would be a downside because the work demanded from you is of highest quality and also the work load is quite high. So this might sometimes prove to be de motivating. Also the campuses are far off the cities which doesnt allow you to be near your home. If Infosys is present in your city then travelling would take up a lot of your time which is certainly not good. Sometimes due to business requirement you might be moved to different departments and you might not even have a say in the decision.

Pros

If you have no job at all.. And you get through Infosys. Then I guess you need to continue till you find a better employer..

Cons

If you travel onsite through infosys, be prepared to come back anytime even the very day. They will not pay all lease breakage expenses. Keep giving you false assurances. They recommend that if you are married , it's not a good idea to take your spouse along. Even if the assignment is for years. If you do take your spouse along, they will make sure you have such hard time that you will feel like coming back the same day. They are very indifferent to our financial situation. When they ask you to move to another location . Be it be within 2 days of arriving in US. They will pay you only $200 . you need to manage your car rental (If you are travelling to another end of US, you will need to get your car towed) and initial accomodation. We(Me and my spouse) are staying in a hotel in one room since 3 months because we can be asked to move anytime. We came to US on a 1 year assignment. We were asked to move to another location in 3 months. They refused to pay the lease breakage expenses. So we took a loan from them. It's barely been 3 months since we moved here and we have been asked to travel back to India. They expect us to pay back the loan (dollars) in rupees!!
