Good Place to start but low pay and no opportunity to grow
Pros
Friendly People, Large office building
Cons
Extremely low paid vs market. IT Project Managers should be paid at least $85k - Ingram paid me 38k plus small "goal attainment" incentives No opportunities to develop skills, manager constantly denying MANY requests to learn new things, despite telling our team he supports growth. Poor management leadership - constantly flying to conferences and other events but never applying the skills/tech to Ingram's own business. In 3 years, we never hit Quota. Too large to be effective - projects don't get completed because too many team members holding up details. My manager had extreme discrimination - treated me much worse than other team members - imposing rules that no one else had to follow (telling me I HAD to shave my beard but no other team members had to, controlling my wardrobe he would let me wear to the office - no sweaters no canvas shoes, not allowed to telecommute despite rest of team of 12 members only came to office 2-3 days/week). He really made me hate my life every day.
