Pros

co-workers and a nice building

Cons

Always afraid to be layed off, you come in one day and find out people are let go. The managers looks stressed all the time because they don't know what is going on. Alot of people leave so it makes people scared of their job. They do not give promotions.

Pros

Contacts can be made with other technology companies very quickly due to Ingram's position in the industry. Good for networking into a role with a technology company. Work conditions are an open office - with all but VP and above in 4 ft cubes.

Cons

Extremely political. To get ahead plan on buttering up your boss(es). Very hierarchical due to size of organization. Get ready to go to meeting after meeting after meeting .

Pros

Every employee is finally allowed a laptop and ability to be a little flexible with working from home when need be. Being a large organisation, it provides opportunity to mingle with other teams and grow network. Lots to learn on the job on your own, excellent for self starters .

Cons

Ability to buy coffee for manager and partake in the game of politics is regarded higher than any other skill. Tech company but slow to adapt technology internally and have to beg IT Team to give us a wireless mouse. Lack of structured on-boarding process as no one takes responsibility. No manager/HR is at all concerned with career growth and development.
