      good work life balance and benefits. Great people to work with

      Cons

      too much stress push underwriters to compete between each other you don't move up unless your numbers are good lack of integrity among certain underwriters to have more new business micro management

      Large diverse organization with lots of interesting work. Staff development and training is medium to high priority for most mangers

      Challenging to deliver major projects in the absence of a project management culture Application of performance ratings is inconsistent from team to team and manger to manager

      Great co-workers as we can all relate to each others issues and complaints about the company's ethics and procedures

      Cons

      -A lot of mid & upper management favourtism -false promises and expectations -low pay and yearly raises (if you even get one)
