Pros

- Stable industry - Flexible start/end times but company will no longer allow remote positions for lower level positions

Cons

- Old tech - Colleagues don't have strong coding background - Old boomers like pushing the tough work to new grads - Benefits (minus 401k match) are not great. No pension. No stock options unless at VP level - 1 month parental leave is PATHETIC. Women have to pop out babies then go back to work in 4 weeks. They have the option to apply for disability leave for up to two more months of leave but like ... disability leave? really? Other companies are offering 6 months paid. Why would any woman who wants to start a family stay here?

Pros

Good pay/benefits/4/10 workweek. Good learning opportunities.

Cons

Horribly toxic with mid and upper level leaders who are very unaware of their impact on the individual contributor. This is a systemic issue that continues to be swept away and much blame is often on the employee.

Pros

It's a paycheck, but only if you're desperate.

Cons

1. Bad management has fostered a shark tank mentality. 2. What was once the leading firm for aerospace design/ development now has employees scraping to get charge numbers for every six- minute interval. 3. New employees are left to scramble to understand the work, because no useful design artifacts are kept. 4. Fighter jets with spaghetti code. 5. Management by intimidation. 6. Leads who have risen solely by attrition, with no real skills. 7. If you have an other-than-pearly-white skin color I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere. 8. The three-inch roaches in the bathroom (Yes, really!) aren't the worst vermin. (But, keep your clothes up off the floor when doing your business! You don't want a hitchhiker. ) 9. Young engineers: Don't count on getting useful experience here. Watch your back!
