Pros

Office is in great location. You get to work with amazing peers.

Cons

Challenging upper management. Working with the leadership team is difficult, as they are disconnected from the realities of the product and dismiss/ignore input from us. Favoritism with upper management team, is very common, with select individuals receiving majority of opportunities, promotions, and bonuses. Additionally, the workload is overwhelming, as responsibilities that should fall under program managers, engineers, test teams, operations, and facilities etc. are frequently shifted onto us, while being compensated the lowest. Employees are expected to take on tasks beyond their job scope, with little choice but to comply, to avoid being in the bad books of upper management. Do not recommend MV product team.

Pros

This was the absolute best place to work... 2+ years ago. Quotas were always attainable and in most cases you could blow it out of the water. Leadership was great and Meraki was always offering promotion paths for those wanting to grow their career in various forms. I was lucky enough to have worked in the San Francisco, Chicago, and field locations. My OTE started at 120k when I joined Meraki back on the inside team but was always able to achieve 250k+ W2. From there you can go up-market into MM, Select, and Global accounts. Each market you go up, so does your OTE! Meraki was my home for very long and I will cherish the relationships I built there. I will always be thankful of that. I however, would not recommend Meraki at this point in time. Pros: Channel Business - Hard to Fail Backed by Cisco in tough Market conditions Amazing Product - best in the market for cloud networking I've never worked with more happy customers Solid Pay

Cons

Cons: Poor Leadership Limited upward growth (things have changed for the worse) Poor Support until you loop in Cisco's highest support team Very unlikely to hit new 50%+ growth goals Lead times (In most cases 6+ months for the better products)

Pros

- Fast place to learn all the networking concepts - You will be on a fast track to learn FW, SD-WAN, Switching, Routing (Mostly static), Wireless knowledge which will be helpful in future roles - Work culture is good - Teams are supportive and you won't be alone with the issues - We used to get Free Lunches when we were in the office

Cons

- No real salary raise, I only got 1 salary raise in 3 years and it was 6% - No appreciation for the amount of work - Constantly forced in the queue - Talent retention is bad - Company is okay with letting go of old employees and hiring new ones with a huge salary compared to one who left - Hiring rate for the new employee is very bad
