Pros

Programmatic work is interesting. Cost of living (especially rent) is low. Young population in Kosovo.

Cons

Extreme bureaucracy. Nepotism in recruitment and generally dysfunctional HR. Rampant sexism at all levels, especially from senior management. My female colleagues get regularly mistreated and men talk about them in sexual terms. Impact of work is minimal. Most staff are simply justifying their existence by filing paperwork. I left as new leadership came in, but my former colleagues tell me nothing has changed. Some bad seeds left and hopefully good people will replace them.
