Toxic workplace

Pros

Reliable workplace for salary and getting days off as per rights afforded in national legislation.

Cons

Toxic workplace, too much office politics, especially in missions: my review is based on Albania experience. High turnover in both national and international staff should be a red flag. Compensation far below peer IOs. Dubious hiring practices with underqualified candidates getting best jobs while better options driven out. Quality of management and workers has gone downhill over the years due to bad reputation and low compensation. Terrible leadership. Death by 1000 buroacratic paper cuts, especially in procurement.
