      - Outside of management, there are some great people working there - Technology and products can be interesting and fun to work with/on

      Cons

      - Company execs. preach employees are valued, yet their actions are quite different...continual layoffs, highly political, promotions often based on connections vs. merit - Poor work life balance depending on your organization - Execs always get bonuses, employees measured differently and often do not get fully funded bonuses - Frequent postponement/cancellation of annual merit raises - Low employee morale - No idea how to successfully integrate acquired companies

      The company enjoys weak competition, good products, and knowledgeable employees. Given the company's recent performance, the bar is fairly low for over-achievement.

      Cons

      It's a good old boy environment including nepotism. Career advancement is only available for HQ employees. Senior executives have no experience running a $1B business.
