Pros

There is an enormous amount of flexibility in the day to day job schedule in terms of the start and stop times for each days work. In general, the people are very motivated to work together as a team and most people are happy to be working for the company. Recent HR themes have focused on improving work/life balance.

Cons

It can be very competitive within the same level, and there can sometimes be slow promotion rate depending on the site and category worked. If one is not willing or able to move to a new site or category it could potentially limit the career path.

Pros

The salaries are wonderful at P&G. The company definitely compensates for the hard work employees out in. In working for an elite company such as P&G, the experience you gain is invaluable. You will have exposure to very competitve brands and your role, regardless of what it is will play an integral part in the company success. The responsibility given is very valuable and entry level employees are given valuable work from day one. Work/life balance is valued within the company which is always a plus! Finally, one of the greatest aspects of working for the company for me was working with a diverse group of very intelligent individuals on a daily basis...very enriching!

Cons

Though Procter & Gamble is a very successful and wonderful company to be employed by, there are some downsides. Sme areas of this company are very competitive and may be too competitve for some. The company consists of many type A personalities, which sometimes creates a rigid environment. It may also sometimes be hard to be yourself within the company because there is a distict culture within. Though the work responsibility is great, the training is not as thorough as with some companies, which often makes the transition into the firm not so easy for some. Overall, P&G is a great place to work!
