Pros

great pay - nice to have time off at christmas time

Cons

Raytheon management talks the talk, but don't walk the walk - age discrimination, retaliation, cliques, vindictive managers - dreadful place to work

Pros

New Paternity/Maternity Leave for those expecting (3 weeks paid)!! Very little required to maintain the status quo (this could be a pro if you are not a driven person). On site fitness center.

Cons

Very little to maintain the status quo. Boring mission at the Aurora campus. I don't get the impression more than about 5-10% enjoy their job or like being here.

Failing IIS

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Probably the best people I've worked with. Benefits are good. They make every effort to place you elsewhere when programs finish.

Cons

Several IIS programs are in serious trouble. IIS is comprised almost exclusively of Software Engineers, and IIS is 'blindly' invoking the agile - scrum software development methodology on these programs. In addition to essentially mandating very poor software solutions, agile - scrum has also transitioned software engineering departments in to a very dismal existence for software engineers.
