Pros

Superior benefits, fair pay, opportunity for advancement based on your desire to move up the ranks. Some corporate perks such as the store, safety bonuses and others.

Cons

Lack of support, upper management not in touch with what really goes on in the plant (especially on night/evening shifts) control freaks with seniority who will sabotage newbies that do not kiss up to them as they see fit, clique type dynamics which leads to a hostile working environment, long 12 hour shifts, lack of decent air conditioning in hot summers, favoritism, not a progressive or supportive manufacturing environment.

Pros

Since the very first day you are already given autonomy and responsibility. You need to learn things quickly and to establish relationships in order to "survive". Management is open to dialogue and you can raise your hand whenever you feel like!

Cons

The whole company has a very short-term view that often results is tough timings, strong pressure, waste of resources to do things that then result were not needed! HR is basically absent, prepare you package when you arrive and wonder if something is going wrong only when you leave. Performance is not rewarded as it should be. I do not feel meritocracy is really a value here.

Pros

International experience... there's no other company as strong as Reckitt in sending people abroad, you'll always be working with at least 50% of foreigners at most times! Also the challenging and fast paced environment can give you experiences very valuable for the market. The top management is very close to all employees as well, which helps a lot on choosing your career path.

Cons

Well, the biggest problem in RB is that they'll always pay you he least they can, you must negotiate everything there. It's very difficult for they to promote someone who didn't ask for more challenges. Also the lack of standardization, documented processes and overall organization might be a little annoying for some people.
