I am a Chinese employee working at Tianjin SDI, my review is completely based on this site. 1. Could be good for students immediately coming out of school. Only recommend for bachelor's degree and lower. 2. Big company like this is not sensitive to unpredictive disasters like COVID-19, you are less likely to get unemployed.

Cons

1. Depressful company culture 2. No respect for emplyees' benefits 3. Low payment 4. redundant procedures 5. Very few holidays(In my site, only 5 days per year and you get 10 days per year after working for 5 years)

Cons

Since the company is based on chemistry jndustry, software engineering is regarded as somewhat minority. Not diverse experience. Manager thought software change/development is no big deal.
