      Great working experience

      Pros

      - Working with highly professional team; - Great chance for junior individuals to grow within a company, with corresponding support from technical leaders; - Flexibility in working hours: at the end of the week you need to have the certain amount of hours (as previously agreed with operational management) - it's not important when you will work so you can organize your working schedule as you wish; - Great internal activities as: organizing meet's up for people from the same countries, newspaper about the company and it's employees etc; - Payment is always on time and accurate;

      Cons

      - If you don't organize your working time well, you will end up working the whole day. But that's a cons for any remote job and it's not related to the company;

      My favourite web development company

      Pros

      Started as a Junior Web Developer in 2009, currently working as a Technical Lead / Senior Web Developer. Here's what I value most in ScopicSoftware: - Long term relationships. I know both employees and clients who work with the company for 8+ years (including myself). - Good quality of work. ScopicSoftware mostly focuses on complicated web projects including rich internet applications. It delivered many high quality products. - New Technologies. The company encourages developers to master new technologies and skills all the time, there's a special training program. - Friendly team. The company has a multi-cultural team, employees from 15+ countries. The vast majority of the team is very friendly and at the same time quite professional. Since the company is actively hiring there are always some exceptions though.

      Cons

      There are not many cons, here are three items which could be important for some: - Working from home. Personally for me it's quite comfortable, while I heard some employees had problems with it. - Different time zones. Since the company hires from many countries there could be a big difference in time for various team members. - No company meetings. There are only some rare cases when we'll gather for a big company meeting. It seems that some employees would prefer to have more frequent meetings.
