Pros

Collaborative environment, really smart people that I continue to learn from every day and directors who respect your output and do not micromanage. I get a lot of ownership of my day-to-day and have the opportunity to be hands-on with new product dev.

Cons

You have to be okay with a fast-paced environment and some ambiguity from time to time.

Cons

Training: I was given no training for my role after put through our new employee orientation. I wasn't given guidance, feedback, or any training materials to help me learn the software. Question for you here: how can you set your employees up for success if you aren't training them? Also if this training isn't consistent how can figure out what works/what doesn't? Management: All of the senior leaders on the sales team are men. Despite trying to play devil's advocate here and hating having to realize I work in a boys club environment, I do. When it comes to diversity and inclusion, inclusion means feeling included right? Well the men on the sales team don't make the women feel included. Sports references are the only references mentioned in meetings to pump you up. If you aren't someone's "bro" good luck you will have to fight for your voice to be heard/be respected and taken seriously at this company. Also, you will get weird sexist comments thrown casually at you often - from your co-workers and also the prospects you work with. The comments I could share with you would make you cringe. Inconsistency with expectations (sales department): Your quota, your leads, your territories, your manager and the way you're managed changes ALL. THE. TIME. This makes it very difficult because you're constantly frustrated and also confused because change often happens without anyone communicating it to you. Please, please communicate change to your employees! HR: Despite having an open door policy I've seen people penalized for going to HR with complaints and getting written up. I was very excited to work for this company, and while I do think the software is making waves in this industry and helping a lot of people, the company itself has a ton of work to do internally. If you're reading this review know that I pride myself on being a very fair human being and that it took me a while to write this because I wanted to see how things panned out after working here for a couple years before leaving a negative review. Sadly, I'm very disappointed in ServiceTitan and would not recommend working here.

Growth pains are good!

Pros

Since I've started working at ServiceTitan, I've seen my own personal goals realized and grown with a team that has admittedly had a decent amount of turnover. I didn't come from a sales background, nor a SaaS company, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Here is what I found: There is a great level of commitment from all parts of the organization - we try out best to support each other. During busy tradeshow seasons, we have Sales and Success, and Support team members handling crowds of contractors (both prospects and customers) together on busy expo center floors. The Marketing department and events teams are always supporting Sales efforts to earn new business, training teams fly out to new enterprise customer locations every week, and you can see our #kudos Slack channel light up with praise for all the hard work and dedication. While the growth has been incredible, it has also been a challenge to manage. We have changed sales approaches, shifted leaders, gained and lost employees, changed our approach a few more times, messed some things up, but learned. The role I was hired of is hard, and there are 20 other young professionals who for many, this is their first or second job out of college. This is a great chance to work what will probably end up being one of the most challenging outbound sales in the SaaS world. The growing pains mean that there is room for improvement, and the leadership team understands at this point that the path to success is going to be from listening to this feedback.

Cons

Get ready to dedicate some of your free time. There is always a work-life balance, but if you are truly bought in to the success of the customers, whether you are in sales or any other department, you might find yourself hopping on a plane more often than you think.
