Pros

Great trainers! Great perks! Great colleagues!

Cons

Since we're constantly taking calls to book for clients, there's barely any breathing room. We need to meet the KPIs met and what is something that was discouraging was when we're told not to go on BRB if required us to step away briefly like doorbell, or washroom break, or even to get water?!?! Are we robots? Are we slaves now? Somehow, this company who prides to treat us all as humans and a work-life balance is also chasing us to ask if we want to do overtime. Expecting on average to take roughly 70-80 calls in a 8-hr shift??? I also heard from colleagues that PT do not get benefits???

Pros

The people. Got to work with some of the most intelligent, creative, wonderful people here. Depending on where you sit, you'll also have the opportunity to make an impact -- though the company has matured in some ways, there's still room to change things up and move the needle if you can make a case for yourself.

Cons

Again, your experience will largely depend on where you sit in the org, but there is definitely a lack of leadership maturity. The "boy's club" theme is recurring because it's true and because it's true at the very top. Most of the people you'll meet here are wonderful but there are some bad players whose bad behavior is tolerated and even rewarded. This is pretty discouraging to see and totally contradictory to company values, but it still happens. Big lack of diversity at the top too, even more so now with the layoffs.

Pros

In the midst of all the bad, the company is punctuated with smart and dedicated individuals. There are some amazing managers and ICs. The software is also fun to learn if you have the time.

Cons

With that being said, ST also has some terrible managers/directors. People who say that they care but do not take feedback well. Directors will ask for opinions over and over again but still, act like all of the information is brand new to them. Industry hires are given leadership roles without the leadership skills, or understanding of the inner workings of ST. There is a lot to learn, work hours are long and the compensation is not competitive.
