Pros
A PM is as good as the client says they are, as much revenue their project brings, and as good the internal project metrics show it to be.
Cons
Fast to fire groups of employees in countries that pay middle to high salaries to balance the books. Employees documented as high performers are getting fired too: good performance means literally zero if you can be replaced by a cheaper resource. This culture creates an atmosphere of job security anxiety. Too much time wasted on internal exercises to update systems and systems reporting.
