Quickly loosing their moral compass around employee happiness. I used to recommend employment here- Not any more.
Pros
Healthcare benefits are good, stock options available, lower management attempts to be flexible and genuinely cares. The employees are amazing. no dress code or rules about cubicle decoration. relatively convenient access to office, work from home available on occasion,
Cons
The "bottom line" has started to become the only line. Still paying about 30% below market average. It's become more and more apparent that lower level employees are considered replaceable cogs. Raises not keeping up with cost of living, employee moral in lower paying areas is not good (can't speak to dev or other locations). Job opportunities have dried up. attempts at making employees feel heard has stopped. upper management disengaged from employees. Most everyone feels stuck in tech support. CEO is good at dancing around questions.
