Pros

great advancement opportunities and they have a really good way of showing appreciation for their hard working employees. the incentive pay and recognition trips are amazing ways that the company shows they are proud of their employees hard work. they also have a really good 401k program and a great health care program as well.

Cons

the market i work in can play favorites very easily, and by doing that the wrong people get promoted over the right people. sometimes the feedback on how to improve at your position is to vague to actually make improvements. i also feel that some management cares too much about their personal lives than the professional lives of their employees

Pros

A longstanding American company which appears to be as dedicated to its employees as it is to its customers. Compensation, I think, is average compared with peers. Benefits I believe is above average. Superior leadership from its past CEO and the present CEO seems to be following in the same footsteps. Very diversified work force. Good company to work for.

Cons

Within technology, unless you are at a major location, it is difficult to advance. Lots of red tape in everything you do. Middle management seems to be the biggest shortcoming.

Pros

It might be a good place to "start" a career in finance but keep in mind that you will need to change jobs fast. The bank offers good training.

Cons

The pressure for results is very high. Results come from sales only and unfortunately customer service does not coun to your performance. The "team" concept is almost non existent since only individual results count.Pressure can produce dollars results but also produces a terrible environment to work. Branch managers are usually not prepared to deal with people only with bank procedures.
